Make Your Own Menorah

 Make Your Own Menorah workshops for groups: 


Only $55 per person covers all materials for making beautiful metal menorahs!. You'll choose from a variety of Menorah shapes, and paint your own design.

Study a Master's Painting & Create your very own!
The focus of the February workshops will be looking at the rich history of these icons with other fun projects in-between. Bring an image by one of your favorite artists and get to know the artist and their techniques. Use the knowledge to recreate a painted masterpiece of your own. Recommended for age 9 and up, exceptions allowed, please call 860-305-6579. Participation in both dates suggested but not required.

Exploring Celtic Knots through a variety of media!
The Celtic Knot represents eternity through loyalty, faith, friendship, and love. They can be difficult to draw, but we’ve found some fun and inspiring ideas that will show us how to create knots and teardrops through paper collage, wire, and wire pendants. Arts and Crafts recommended for age 9 and up, exceptions allowed, please call 860-305-6579.

Getting ready for the Garden!
Getting ready for the Garden – create a clay pot chime, birdseed ornaments and fabricate painted stick sculptures. In between we’ll be able to practice drawing and painting trees before the leaves unfold! Recommended for age 9 and up, exceptions allowed, please call 860-305-6579.

 April showers bring May flowers!
Upcycle bottlecaps into metal flowers, turn rocks into ladybugs, and paint fresh flowers from the garden. If the weather is nice enough we can venture outside and paint the garden en plein air. Recommended for age 9 and up, exceptions allowed, please call 860-305-6579.

Tween/Teen Mixed Media
Explore different mediums! Learn to draw the figure, work on shading, adventure in anime, perfect your crafting skills, experiment with plaster of paris, sewing, and upcycling everyday materials into beautiful works of art.

Leaf Bowls

Collect different shapes, sizes and colors of leaves. Use ModPodge to glue the leaves together onto a plastic bowl covered with plastic wrap. After the piece dries, you'll be left with a great decorative bowl for fall.

Metal Flowers

Back by popular demand! Utilize aluminum sheet metal to create a three-dimensional flowers. Learn new twists for those who have already mastered the basics, but no experience needed. Spice up your home or office with these beautiful metal sculptures.

Mermaid Mobiles

Enjoy painting, rubberstamping, adding stickers and dangles to Karen's newest laser cut 10-inch Mermaid shapes. Add the perfect crafty touch to your home.

Art of Hearts

 Create Art of Hearts! Using wood, nails, corks and string make some beautiful pieces as home decor, or three dimensional Valentine cards just in time for Valentine's day!

 Wind Chimes:
Working with chimes, colored glass, beads and willow sticks, create a musical marvel for your porch or a protected area in your garden. Liven up your home this Spring!

Snowflake Canvas

Not your usual paint party! Paint a canvas and then cut paper snowflakes.  Appliqué or stencil the flakes, continue painting, add mixed media.

Mini Mosaic Murals

Adorn a piece of plexiglass with stone,  plates, glass, broken jewelry and found objects.  Bring additional materials such as shells, buttons or other craft materials to personalize your piece, as desired.  The sun will glow through the great glass panel and warm the coldest winter days.

Celebrate Mom!

Make a Fanciful Flight at our mom’s day  workshop. Create your flight as a self portrait, or in honor of someone you  know. Bring loved ones! Personalize your piece with broken jewelry.

Witches
Adorn your own Witch Fanciful Flight ornament.  Bring any beads and charms you may have to add an even more personal touch!  Broken jewelry works great.

Holiday Fanciful Flights
Create a Santa, Mrs. Claus or Elf as a Holiday gift or for your very own collection. Bring your broken jewelry to serve as accents if you desire!
