When Karen first began creating metal sculptures, hospital commissions were a big part of her fine art career. Because of this, it has been especially rewarding to return to making artwork for hospitals. For the past year, she has been working withWilkins Art Associates to make dozens of mural boards for the Children's Hospital of Boston. These pieces are being displayed in patient rooms, emergency wings, and hospital hallways.
