ORIGINAL ROSSI SCULPTURES
Nestled on a hillside looming above the Hudson with a distant view of the GW bridge, is the bucolic garden of Gary and Denise Rosenberg. Long time patrons of Karen's work, Gary and Denise have many fine pieces of her sculpture, including a chuppah which has graced two of their daughter's weddings as well as Denise's mother's batmitzvah. Last April, Denise asked Karen's advice on refreshing the garden sculptures of flowers, gazing balls, and sculptural chairs. Denise was afraid she might need to toss the existing metal art and start anew. Karen's solution was a trip to Home Depot for new paint, and what was old became new again! For Denise and her landscape designer, Marjorie Schutz, the garden is a job that is never done. So after months of making prototypes and sending Denise photos to find out what she liked, Karen loaded her clunker with various flowers and butterflies on a crisp September Tuesday and headed south. Still young enough to jump like a billygoat around the steep property, Karen moved lady bugs and flowers to various spots until they found their permanent homes. It was a splendid day for all. New pieces were discussed, so stay tuned for more photos in next month's newsletter.
Ordering suspended until further notice.
The rising cost of living and impact of inflation has taken a toll on operations. Considering the cost of materials, time spent creating made-to-order products, and attention to detail required for many personalized items, our current prices and fulfillment practices cannot remain the same. As such, I've been forced to reassess product costs and devise a sustainable, realistic solution to ensure I can continue to create well into the future.
If you have questions/reasonable requests where time is not of the essence, please reach out.
Sincerely, Karen
