Women’s Spring Craft Celebration at the Pond House Cafe 1555 Asylum Avenue, West Hartford, CT. 06117
Sunday March 18th from 9 to 3pm
Connecticut women artists and crafters will display and sell their work, at the third Annual Spring Celebration of Women’s Crafts on Sunday, March 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held at the Pond House Café, located in Elizabeth Park, 1555 Asylum Avenue entrance, in West Hartford. This show, with both Spring and Fall events, is now celebrating its 21st year. The venue has become a highly anticipated showcase for browsing and purchasing a broad array of handcrafted gift items for family and friends. Set on the grounds of inspiring Elizabeth Park, the Pond House Brunch, coupled with a tour of the Artists and their work, provide for a perfect day out!
Among the varieties of artisan items presented for sale will be pottery, glass, clothing, jewelry, journals, artwork, soap, angel art, knitwear, sculpture, and more. To name a few artists attending: Nancy Gworek (Knit + Feltware), Barbara Boutot ( Fiber Artist), Lori Barker (Spirtual Art), Kelly Taylor (Mixed Media), Kim Cannon (illustrator and author) and Karen Rossi (mobiles). Joining the experience this year, will be Kristina Mozzicato (Massage Therapist), Paula Bush (Tarot Card Reader), and a Henna Artist.
All artists will be present to meet shoppers and discuss their work. Admission is free. As has become a traditional feature of this show, a gift raffle will also be held, featuring hand-crafted items from the participating artists, with the ticket proceeds donated to Foodshare.

Karen will be at the Spring 2018 Whiting Mills Open Studios! Stop by and see her latest art pieces and flights!
Opened in 2004, the Whiting Mills building is home to a variety of artists, craftspeople, retail shops, small manufacturing companies, and a center for artistic, community, and social events. The semi-annual Open Studio events enjoy a reputation for being a destination for the public to enjoy meeting resident and guest artists at the Whiting Mills.
