CT CT Open House Day- Norfolk Open House An event for the whole family. Enjoy crafts, studio tours, sales specials, and a plasma cutting demonstration (weather permitting.) Sculpture in the Garden Show and Tag Sale - Beverly Kaye Gallery Walk around the grounds of Beverly's home and gallery to view some special pieces. Beverly will feature the work of over 40 artists! Recycled metla sculpture, stone & concrete carvings, bird houses, folk art, pottery, garden whimsies, handmade dolls. Directions- Merritt Parkway Exit 58, right at light (Greenway) to end. Right on Baldwin, left at light (Ansonia Rd.), first right to 15 Lorraine Dr. OR: Whalley Ave. to Fountain St. to Ansonia Rd. after intersection of 243 and 114 take second right. Norfolk Chamber of Music Festival- The Norfolk Chair Project Local artists, including Rossi are to create a special chair, using actual historic chairs from the Music Shed, either painted or included in a sculpture of the artist’s choice. The finished Artist’s Chairs will be sold at a silent/live auction at the Chair Project Kickoff Event concert at the Music Shed, featuring the Emerson Quartet. WRAP Luncheon The annual Women Raising Awareness Philanthropically Luncheon was created to bring people from all walks of life together in an atmosphere of cooperation and celebration. All the proceeds from the event go to year round recreational and educational programs that empower children at the Channel 3 Kids Camp. See the event info here. Adirondack Chair Live Auction at the Annual Hebrew Healthcare Event Bid on Adirondack Chairs decorated and designed by celebrities, including Karen Rossi. Proceeds from the auction will support A Fresh Canvas: An Alzheimer’s Arts Program which provides art-based therapy classes to clients with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementias.
